Service Provider
This information is published in accordance with Regulation 7 of the European Communities (Directive 2000/31/EC) Regulations 2003 (S.I. No. 68 of 2003), transposing the EU e-Commerce Directive.
Service: Irish Investor, accessible at www.irish-investor.com, operated as an informational tool from the Republic of Ireland by a natural person acting in a non-commercial capacity. The operator's full legal name is disclosed on written request to support@irish-investor.com (GDPR Article 13 identity disclosure honoured via direct contact).
The Service is currently provided free of charge while Free Mode is active. No paid commercial services contract is formed by ordinary use of the Service. The Terms of Service still govern access, acceptable use, data handling, disclaimers, and limitations. Voluntary support via Ko-fi (tip jar) is separate and does not create a contract for services, per Irish and EU consumer law.
If the Service transitions to a paid tier, a full trader identity (registered business name, business address, registration number) will be published here and in Section 1 of the Privacy Policy.

A single address handles all support, privacy, and GDPR requests. Email is the primary and rapid means of communication. We aim to respond within 5 business days; privacy-related requests (e.g. data access or erasure under GDPR Articles 15 and 17) are handled within the statutory 30-day window.
Jurisdiction & Governing Law
The Service is governed by the laws of Ireland. Nothing in this notice, our Terms of Service, or any other Service document deprives a consumer resident in another EU Member State of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their habitual residence (Article 6(2), Regulation (EC) 593/2008 — Rome I).
EU consumers retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their own Member State under Articles 17 and 18 of Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 (Brussels I Recast). Consumer rights under the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022 and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) apply fully and may not be waived.

Irish Investor is an educational and informational tool for Irish tax self-filers. It performs calculations using Revenue-published tax rates and rules. It is not tax advice, financial advice, legal advice, or a substitute for professional consultation.
