Overview
Irish Investor uses a small set of providers for hosting, transactional email, optional sign-in, payments, and consent-gated analytics. Each provider receives only the data needed for its listed purpose. See the Privacy Policy for lawful bases, retention, and international-transfer safeguards.
Current Sub-processors
- Railway — Purpose: Backend hosting, PostgreSQL database, logs, and scheduled jobs. Data processed: Account, portfolio, tax-calculation, upload, and operational data processed by the backend. Location: EU region for primary hosting; limited US support access may occur. Safeguards: Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Vercel — Purpose: Frontend hosting, CDN delivery, and consent-gated Speed Insights. Data processed: Website delivery metadata and performance measurements when analytics consent is granted. Location: Global edge network, including EU and US infrastructure. Safeguards: Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Google — Purpose: Google Sign-In and consent-gated Google Analytics 4 measurement. Data processed: OAuth identity details for sign-in; analytics events only after Analytics consent. Location: EU and US infrastructure. Safeguards: Standard Contractual Clauses and Google Consent Mode v2.
- Stripe — Purpose: Historical payment records and checkout readiness if paid access is reintroduced. Data processed: Stripe customer identifier, checkout session metadata, purchase, refund, and dispute records. Location: Ireland/EU routing via Stripe Technology Europe Ltd.; limited US processing may occur. Safeguards: Data Processing Agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Resend — Purpose: Transactional service email delivery. Data processed: Recipient email address and transactional message content. Location: United States. Safeguards: Standard Contractual Clauses.
- ImprovMX — Purpose: Inbound email forwarding for support@irish-investor.com. Data processed: Sender, recipient, headers, and email body for messages sent to the support address. Location: EU and US infrastructure. Safeguards: Provider security measures and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
